Save the date for Night of Ideas 2024 in San Diego! Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de San Diego is delighted to partner with the Institute of Contemporary Art San Diego (ICA)<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0the French American Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for an evening of art and ideas.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hosted by the ICA at their headquarters in Balboa Park, the event will feature an exhibition by artist Pinar Yoldas, and an panel discussion in English on “The Edge: AI and Human Creativity,” hosted by Jordan Karney Chaim, Curator at the ICA, and featuring artist Pinar Yoldas and Sylvia Cartwright MD (more info to come).<\/p>\n

This event is free and open to the public. The panel discussion requires a RSVP due to limited seating. Doors open at 4:00pm.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Create a \u201cNot Quite Right\u201d collage inspired by Pinar Yoldas\u2019 exhibition,\u00a0Synaptic Sculpture<\/em>. The assemblages explore the uncanny realm of AI-generated imagery, where the algorithmic mind occasionally falters, birthing compositions that subtly deviate from reality and expose their synthetic genesis.<\/p>\n

5pm \u2013 6pm<\/strong>\u00a0I\u00a0Panel discussion: The Edge: AI + Human Creativity<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us in the theater at Mingei International Museum for a lively panel discussion,\u00a0The Edge: AI + Human Creativity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ICA San Diego Curator Jordan Karney Chaim moderates a conversation featuring artist Pinar Yoldas, Sylvia Cartwright, MD, and Suman Kanuganti, Co-Founder and CEO of Personal.ai.<\/p>\n

Discussion includes 15 minutes of Q&A.<\/p>\n

The panel will be conducted in English.<\/p>\n
