For its third Night of Ideas held on May 6th from 6pm to 10pm, Villa Albertine is partnering with Harvard University, Bunker Hill Community College, and the International School of Boston to provide a diverse set of debates and performances for its edition entitled ‘Where are We Going’. The Boston night will focus on the concepts of anticipation, decision-making, and resilience in the context of ever-growing uncertainty stemming from not only the COVID-pandemic but more importantly the current political and international crisis in Ukraine. Intellectuals and students from Harvard University will engage in debates inspired by the French presidency of the Council of the European Union. Students from the International School of Boston will explore this theme through a philosophical mediation on the idea of horizon, using examples from the history of art and the struggle against climate change. Lastly, students from Bunker Hill Community College will contribute via musical performances demonstrating the resilience of the artistic community after nearly two years of the pandemic.

Presented by: Harvard University, Bunker Hill Community College, and International School of Boston and Villa Albertine.
