The Alliance Française de Detroit, in partnership with Wayne State University, is thrilled to host an evening around the theme: “Outside the Lines: Women Living Their Lives.” Throughout history, women have faced pressure to conform to social norms. What happens when they refuse? You are invited to attend a presentation by three Michigan women authors, Jolene Vos-Camy, Aurore J. Deka, and Anne Duggan, who will explore how women in history and in fiction have stepped outside the lines.
