This year’s edition of Night of Ideas will take place at the Rothko Chapel in Houston, focusing on health justice within the broader theme of “Common Ground.”
The event will encourage participants to reflect on how we can commit to and protect what unites us. How can we cultivate authentic interpersonal connections in an increasingly digital world? In a polarized political climate, where can we find opportunities for meaningful dialogue? As extreme weather threatens our planet, how can we safeguard the land beneath our feet?
Discussions on health justice will be complemented by performances by the Texas Medical Center Orchestra and artists from ReelAbilities as well as talks by French writer and resident of Villa Albertine Prune Antoine and epidemiologist Dr. Peter Hotez.
This event is free and open to the public.
