In a world full of human divides, where lines are paradoxically blurred, one must strive at bridging gaps in an effort of unification . In this regard, this year’s Nuit des Idées – St. Louis returns to Webster University to present a series of interventions from notable public figures and scholars who will address both the apparent and hidden divides, and propose ideas and solutions to bridge them. These divides are ideological (TBD), economic (Denis Pruitt, Vice President of International Business Recruitment at MO Partnership), linguistic (Isabelle Heidbreder, Director of the Alliance Française), Cultural (Salim Ayoub, Professor and Director of the Centre Francophone), racial and sexual (Vincent Flewellen, Chief Diversity Officer at Webster University).
The 5 presentations will be preceded by a social hour with an open bar and hors-d’œuvre, and followed by a Q&A to interact with the audience.
